Ellen DeGeneres Gets ‘Played Off’ During Acceptance Speech In Latest Oscars Promo

Ellen DeGeneres would like to thank the Academy, but sheesh, she’s taking so long.

In her latest Oscars promo, DeGeneres begins a typical awards acceptance speech, but is abruptly played off by background music. DeGeneres will host the 86th Academy Awards, which she previously promoted with a series of photos.

She took to Twitter on Monday to debut the Oscars promo video and remind fans that the award show is right around the corner.
